Position: Purchasing Staff
Responsibilities:
- Process Purchase Requisitions from various departments.
- Source and evaluate vendors to get the best quality and price.
- Issue Purchase Orders and follow up on deliveries.
- Coordinate with the Receiving department to ensure goods conformity.
- Maintain purchasing records and vendor databases.
- Assist in price and contract negotiations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in purchasing, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Good negotiation and analytical skills.
- Detail-oriented and meticulous in record-keeping.
- Proficient in computer operation, especially MS Excel.
- Familiarity with procurement software systems is a plus.
- High integrity and a good work ethic.
- Good communication skills.
