Position: Chief Steward
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the stewarding department operations.
- Supervise, train, and schedule the stewarding team to maintain sanitation standards.
- Oversee the cleanliness and organization of all kitchen areas, back of house, and F&B outlets.
- Manage inventory and control breakage of all china, glassware, and silverware.
- Ensure strict compliance with all HACCP, food safety, and chemical handling guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position, preferably in a 5 star hotel.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and team management skills.
- In depth knowledge of kitchen sanitation standards and chemical handling.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Positive attitude and team spirited.
- Ability to be empowered and work as part of a global community.
