Position: Demi Chef
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Chef de Partie in managing a specific kitchen section.
- Prepare and present high quality dishes according to hotel standards.
- Supervise and guide Commis chefs in their daily tasks.
- Ensure the station is clean, stocked, and well organized.
- Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and kitchen operational procedures.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year experience in the same position or as a senior Commis.
- Formal culinary arts education or apprenticeship.
- Good knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen operations.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen.
- Positive attitude, team spirited, and service minded.
- Good communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and be empowered.
