Position: Commis

Responsibilities:

• Assist senior chefs in the daily preparation and cooking of food items.
• Prepare ingredients, including chopping, portioning, and storing.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation according to hygiene standards.
• Follow all recipes, plating guidelines, and kitchen procedures.
• Support the team in managing inventory and minimizing waste.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Commis or completion of a culinary internship.
• Basic culinary skills and a strong passion for cooking.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Positive attitude, hardworking, and eager to learn.
• Team spirited and service minded.
• Good communication skills.
• A culinary diploma is an advantage.
