Position: Commis
Responsibilities:
- Assist senior chefs in the daily preparation and cooking of food items.
- Prepare ingredients, including chopping, portioning, and storing.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation according to hygiene standards.
- Follow all recipes, plating guidelines, and kitchen procedures.
- Support the team in managing inventory and minimizing waste.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Commis or completion of a culinary internship.
- Basic culinary skills and a strong passion for cooking.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Positive attitude, hardworking, and eager to learn.
- Team spirited and service minded.
- Good communication skills.
- A culinary diploma is an advantage.
