Position: Demi Chef Pastry

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Chef de Partie Pastry in preparing a variety of pastries, desserts, and breads.
• Ensure all pastry items meet high standards of quality and presentation.
• Maintain a clean and organized pastry station.
• Follow recipes and production schedules accurately.
• Monitor inventory of pastry ingredients and assist with ordering.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years experience in a pastry kitchen, preferably in a 4 or 5 star hotel.
• Strong skills in baking, pastry, and dessert preparation.
• Creative with a keen eye for detail and presentation.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP).
• Ability to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen.
• Formal culinary or pastry education is a plus.
• Good team player.
