Position: Dimsum / Chinese Cook

Responsibilities:

• Prepare a variety of high quality dimsum and authentic Chinese dishes according to standard recipes.
• Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation for all menu items.
• Manage a specific station in the Chinese kitchen, including preparation and service.
• Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP).
• Assist with inventory, stock control, and ordering of Chinese kitchen ingredients.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Dimsum Cook or Chinese Cook in a hotel or reputable restaurant.
• Specialized skills in dimsum making and wok cooking techniques.
• Strong knowledge of Chinese cuisine, ingredients, and flavor profiles.
• Ability to work in a fast paced kitchen environment.
• A good team player who is responsive and respectful.
• Willing to work flexible shifts.
• Commitment to delivering a great culinary experience.
