Position: Pastry Chef
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the entire Pastry department, ensuring the production of high-quality, creative, and consistent bakery and dessert items for all outlets (Sana Sini, Le Chocolat, Makaron bakery).
- Develop innovative dessert menus, presentations, and recipes that align with the Pullman brand standards and current culinary trends.
- Manage inventory, minimize waste, and control costs within the Pastry kitchen effectively.
- Supervise, train, and mentor the Pastry team, fostering a culture of excellence and strong teamwork in Central Jakarta.
- Ensure strict adherence to all food safety, hygiene (HACCP), and sanitation regulations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a Pastry Chef or a senior leadership role in a high-volume 5-star hotel pastry kitchen in Jakarta.
- Strong creative talent and extensive technical knowledge in baking, confectionery, and modern dessert presentation.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and delegation skills for managing a specialized culinary team.
- Ability to manage inventory, cost control, and budget planning for the pastry department.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with the Executive Chef and other F&B outlets.
- Must be knowledgeable of global cuisines offered at Pullman Jakarta Indonesia.
- Commitment to excellence and providing unique experiences for guests.
