Job Description

CHEF DE PARTIE (Hot & Cold Kitchen)

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Ø Under responsibilities of Chef de Cuisine

Ø Responsible and coordinates the production and the distribution defined by the Chef

Ø Service, decoration and supervision of the restocking of the cold and hot buffets

Ø Respecting and applying hygiene and safety procedures

Ø Ensure the set up of buffets in the conditions required by schedules, presentation, taste and temperature

Ø Supervises and motivates its team (minimum 4 persons)

Ø To respect all of the menu that has been standardize

Ø Work together with other nationalities as well

Ø Help to promote and participate to various activities, events and sharing moments in the resort

 

Requirements:

Ø Diploma/Bachelor Degree in Culinary arts or similar certification compulsory

Ø Has minimum 10 years of experience, proven by valid work certificates (Paklaring)

Ø Experience at 4 or 5 stars hotel or resort preferred

Ø Having valid passport with minimum 2 years validity is a plus

Ø Energetic and positive thinking

Ø Good physical condition with problem-solving skills

 

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ø Fluent in English is mandatory, speaking other foreign language (e.g.: French or Mandarin) is a plus

Ø Team player, yet autonomous and able to multi-task

Ø Able to work long hours and work under pressure

Ø Willing to travel / relocate aboard (for a period of 12 months)
