Position: Sous Chef

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations and supervising kitchen staff.
• Lead food preparation and production to ensure the highest quality and presentation standards.
• Develop and test new menu items and recipes in collaboration with the culinary team.
• Manage inventory, ordering of supplies, and control food costs effectively.
• Ensure strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to enhance their skills and performance.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position.
• Strong leadership and presentation skill.
• In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques and menu planning.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Honest, attention to details, disciplined and responsible.
• Positive attitude and pleasant personality.
• Able to work as a team as well as independently.
