Position: Executive Chef
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all culinary operations across the resort’s multiple F&B outlets.
- Develop innovative and high-quality menus, ensuring consistency in food preparation and presentation.
- Oversee the financial performance of the culinary department, including food costing, budgeting, and inventory control.
- Recruit, train, and mentor the entire kitchen brigade, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence.
- Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation (HACCP) standards.
- Collaborate with the F&B Director to create exceptional dining experiences for guests.
Qualifications:
- Extensive culinary background with a minimum of 5 years of experience in an Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef role in a 5-star resort or hotel.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a large and diverse culinary team.
- Strong creative skills in menu development and a passion for culinary arts.
- Excellent financial management skills, with experience in controlling food costs and managing budgets.
- In-depth knowledge of international and local cuisines.
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- A degree in Culinary Arts or an equivalent professional qualification is highly preferred.
