Position: Assistant Chief Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Chief Engineer in managing the daily operations of the Engineering department.
- Oversee preventive maintenance programs for all hotel facilities, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Supervise and train engineering staff, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Manage energy conservation programs and departmental budgets.
- Respond to and resolve maintenance requests and technical issues.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the same position for 4/5 stars hotels.
- Strong leadership, analytical and strategic thinking.
- Conversational English is required.
- Pro active passionate, self driven and able to deliver a high level of customer service.
- Strong background in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems.
- Experienced in managing engineering projects and budgets.
- Knowledgeable in building safety codes and regulations.
