Position: Assistant Reservation Manager

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in luxury hotel reservations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (both spoken and written).
  • Strong leadership abilities and experience in training and motivating a reservations team.
  • Proficiency in hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) and central reservation systems.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Understanding of revenue management principles and upselling techniques.
  • Ability to handle discerning guest inquiries and complex booking requests with professionalism and discretion.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Reservation Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the reservations department.
  • Manage and process individual and group reservations, ensuring all details are accurate and guest preferences are noted.
  • Lead, train, and mentor the reservations team to deliver efficient, friendly, and personalized service.
  • Handle escalated guest inquiries and special requests, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolution.
  • Collaborate with the sales and revenue teams to help maximize occupancy and average daily rate (ADR).
  • Prepare and analyze reservations reports, forecasts, and other administrative tasks as required.
