Position: Assistant Banquet Manager (25179862)

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Banquet Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing all banquet and catering events.
  • Supervise banquet staff during events to ensure adherence to service standards and client specifications.
  • Conduct pre-event briefings with the team to communicate event details and guest expectations.
  • Manage event setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring all details on the Banquet Event Order (BEO) are met.
  • Liaise with clients, culinary, and other hotel departments to ensure seamless event coordination.
  • Assist with staff scheduling, training, and inventory control for the banquet department.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a banquet supervisory or assistant manager role in a luxury hotel.
  • Strong knowledge of banquet operations, event planning, and fine dining service standards.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Outstanding organizational and communication skills, with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as per event schedules.
  • Proficiency in banquet/catering software and POS systems.
