General Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in à la carte menu execution, ensuring high standards of presentation and flavor.
  • Middle Eastern cuisine experience is an asset.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire a kitchen team.
  • Creative mindset with excellent plating and food styling skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of contemporary fine dining trends.
  • Understanding of food cost management, inventory control, and supplier coordination.
  • Commitment to hygiene, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Able to join immediately.

Role-Specific Responsibilities

Sous Chef Restaurant:

  • Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing kitchen operations and ensuring culinary excellence.
  • Lead menu development and introduce creative, high-quality dishes.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and ensuring smooth daily operations.
  • Maintain high standards of food presentation, hygiene, and kitchen safety.
  • Monitor food costs, control wastage, and optimize kitchen efficiency.
