Position: Wine Sommelier
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the hotel’s wine list and manage the wine cellar inventory.
- Advise guests on wine pairings and provide an exceptional wine service experience.
- Train F&B staff on wine knowledge, sales techniques, and proper service.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create harmonious food and wine pairings.
- Oversee all aspects of wine storage, handling, and sales.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sommelier in a fine dining restaurant or luxury hotel.
- WSET certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of wine regions, grape varietals, and food and wine pairing principles.
- Excellent communication and sales skills with a passion for sharing wine knowledge.
- Elegant and polished service delivery.
