Position: Purchasing Staff
Responsibilities:
- Process purchase requests from all hotel departments
- Compare prices and negotiate to get the best value
- Issue Purchase Orders (PO) according to company procedures
- Source, evaluate, and maintain good relationships with suppliers
- Coordinate with Storekeeper/Receiving to ensure stock availability and product quality
- Maintain accurate purchasing documents (PR, PO, invoices, vendor files)
- Prepare regular purchasing reports
- Ensure all purchases follow budget, policies, and SOP
Qualifications:
- Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s Degree in Administration, Accounting, Management, or Hospitality
- 1–2 years of experience in purchasing; hotel or F&B industry preferred
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Good administrative skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- High integrity, honest, and able to work under tight deadlines
