Position: Front Office Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Direct and work with managers and employees to successfully execute all front office operations.
  • Manage all day-to-day operations, ensuring quality, standards, and meeting customer expectations.
  • Manage department controllable expenses to achieve or exceed budgeted goals.
  • Improve service by communicating and assisting individuals to understand guest needs, providing guidance, and individual coaching.
  • Interview and hire managers and hourly employee team members with the appropriate skills.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED with 4 years of experience in guest services, front desk, or a related professional area.
  • Alternatively, a 2-year degree in Hotel Management or a related major with 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing a diverse front office team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others.
  • Ability to manage departmental budgets and demonstrate sound financial/business decision-making.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to handle guest complaints and operational challenges.
  • Proficiency in hotel property management systems and front office software.
