Position: Chef de Partie – Pastry Bakery

Responsibilities:

• Prepare a wide variety of goods such as cakes, cookies, pies, bread etc. following traditional and modern recipes.
• Decorate pastries using different icings, toppings etc. to ensure the presentation is beautiful and exciting.
• Monitor stocks for baking ingredients and make appropriate orders within budget.
• Maintain a clean and orderly cooking station and adhere to health and safety standards.
• Guide and motivate pastry assistants and bakers to work more efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Relevant educational background in pastry and bakery arts.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Pastry Chef or Baker.
• Hard worker and able to work effectively in a team.
• Great attention to detail and creativity.
• In-depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation, and baking techniques.
• Able to join immediately.
