Position: Sous Chef Pastry (25159735)
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the entire Pastry and Bakery operation for the resort.
- Create, develop, and execute a highquality, innovative pastry, dessert, and bread program.
- Train, mentor, and supervise the pastry and bakery team.
- Ensure consistency, quality, and artistic presentation of all pastry items.
- Manage inventory, ordering of pastry supplies, and control food costs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic work environment in compliance with HACCP standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef Pastry or Head Pastry Chef in a 5star luxury resort.
- Strong creative and artistic skills in both classical and modern pastry, chocolate, and bakery.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management abilities.
- Strong understanding of food cost, budgeting, and inventory control.
- A formal culinary or pastry arts diploma is required.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced, highpressure environment.
- Passionate about pastry and committed to excellence.
