Position: Receiving

Responsibilities:

• Receive and inspect all incoming goods for quality, quantity, and compliance with purchase orders.
• Record all deliveries accurately into the hotel’s receiving log and inventory system.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of delivered items, especially perishable goods.
• Coordinate with the Storekeeper and department heads regarding deliveries.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the receiving bay.

Qualifications:

• Experience in a receiving or storekeeping role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Basic knowledge of inventory and procurement systems.
• Ability to verify invoices and delivery notes accurately.
• Physically capable of lifting and moving heavy items.
• Honest and diligent.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
