Position: Chief Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Check and sign all journal vouchers prepared by Cost Control, General Cashier, Payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Income Auditor.
• Make sure that all balance sheet items are all accounted for and reconciled with their respective subsidiary ledgers and/or schedules and all contra or cleared at the end of the month.
• Assist the Finance Controller in the preparation of monthly financial reports and schedules required by ACCOR, management and owners.
• Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
• Ensure compliance with all local tax regulations and financial reporting standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar capacity/function in an hotel with strong background in Accounting & Tax.
• Attention to details and quality, guest oriented mindset.
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
• Familiar with hotel system : Opera, Sun, MC.
• Ability to create, lead, motivate and develop a team of individuals, well organized.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
