Position: Duty Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Supervise the engineering team on a shift basis, ensuring all maintenance requests are handled.
• Conduct regular rounds of the property to inspect all plant and equipment.
• Respond to all engineering-related emergencies and guest-facing issues.
• Oversee preventative maintenance schedules during the shift.
• Maintain accurate logs of all work performed and energy readings.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Duty Engineer or Engineering Supervisor in a 5-star hotel.
• Strong technical background in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead a small team and work effectively under pressure.
• A passionate hotelier committed to maintaining a sophisticated and safe environment.
• Experience in a pre-opening context in Surabaya is beneficial.
• Flexible to work rotating shifts.
