Position: Sous Chef

Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily kitchen operations and food production quality
  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu development and cost control
  • Lead and train the culinary team to high standards of excellence
  • Monitor hygiene and food safety protocols in all kitchen areas
  • Manage kitchen inventory, ordering, and waste reduction

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a luxury hotel or fine dining
  • Strong culinary skills and creative menu planning ability
  • Leadership experience in managing a large kitchen team
  • Expert knowledge of food safety and hygiene (HACCP)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills in English
  • Degree in Culinary Arts or related field
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure pre-opening environment
