Job Description

Mercure Pangkalan Bun is the first Accor hotel in Central Borneo, featuring 150 elegantly designed rooms, an outdoor swimming pool, and state-of-the-art meeting facilities. Located just 15 minutes from Iskandar Airport and 10 minutes from the Government business office, it provides an ideal setting for both business and leisure travelers.

We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate CDP Pastry to join our culinary team.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and produce high-quality pastries, desserts, and bakery items.
  • Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality.
  • Manage pastry stock, ingredients, and cost control.
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef in menu planning and innovation.
  • Maintain hygiene and safety standards in the pastry section.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in pastry or bakery roles.
  • Strong creativity and passion for pastry arts.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Attention to detail and a keen eye for presentation.
  • Service-minded and a great team player.
