Assistant Director of Wedding

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic wedding packages in line with resort standards.
  • Oversee wedding planning and execution, from concept to completion.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure seamless events.
  • Lead and mentor the wedding team, ensuring service excellence and professional growth.
  • Manage budget alignment and monitor expenses for maximum profitability.
  • Maintain strong client relationships, addressing feedback and resolving issues promptly.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in wedding or event management, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Wedding Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, budget, and execute wedding events in collaboration with couples and vendors.
  • Serve as the main point of contact, guiding clients through each step of the process.
  • Work closely with departments (culinary, F&B, front office) to coordinate event logistics.
  • Ensure compliance with resort standards, local regulations, and safety procedures.
  • Manage on-site issues or last-minute changes with poise and efficiency.
  • Keep detailed records for post-event evaluation and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in event coordination or wedding planning.
  • Excellent interpersonal and client-relations skills.
  • Proficiency in event-planning software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, guest-centric environment.
