Position: Revenue Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the transient rooms inventory for the hotel and maximize transient revenue.
  • Recommend pricing and positioning of the property.
  • Oversee the inventory management system to verify appropriateness of agreed upon selling strategies.
  • Compile, analyze and monitor actual sales against projected sales.
  • Analyze period end and other available systems data to identify trends and future need periods.

Qualifications:

  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, Economics, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 3 years experience in revenue management or a related professional area.
  • OR; 4-year bachelor’s degree in a related major; 1 year experience in revenue management.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate results and choose the best solutions.
  • Ability to generate and provide accurate and timely results in the form of reports and presentations.
  • Proficiency with computers and computer systems for data processing and analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with Marriott’s reservation and revenue systems is an advantage.
