Position: Purchasing Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Follow established procedures in ordering, receiving, storing, distributing and payment of items.
  • Formulate an approved vendors list encompassing all categories.
  • Order all food and beverage based on business needs and assist in maintaining/lowering budgeted costs.
  • Check invoices on goods received against shipment to ensure quantity, quality, and specifications are as ordered.
  • Maintain inventory controls for proper levels, dating, rotation, and requisitions.

Qualifications:

  • 4-year bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting or related major; or a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Purchasing or a related field.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of job-relevant issues, products, systems, and processes.
  • Utilizes interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others.
  • Ability to compile, code, categorize, calculate, and verify information or data accurately.
  • Knowledge of sanitation compliance and safety standards.
  • Proficiency in using computer programs for daily and period-end cost calculations.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage administrative tasks and reports in a timely manner.
