Position: Sous Chef

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Executive Chef in managing all kitchen operations.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
  • Ensure high standards of food quality, taste, and consistency.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, food costing, and ordering of supplies.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized kitchen in compliance with hygiene standards.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a similar position at a hotel or resort.
  • Good communication skills, Highly motivated, Creative, Innovative with results & guest oriented.
  • Have a good personality, attitude & team player.
  • Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques.
  • Proven leadership and kitchen management experience.
  • Expertise in menu planning and food cost control.
  • Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.
