Position: Sous Chef Elevated Indonesian Cuisine (25166161)
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Executive Chef in managing the specialty Indonesian cuisine kitchen.
- Lead, train, and supervise the kitchen brigade during service.
- Develop and refine innovative, highend Indonesian dishes that align with the resort’s concept.
- Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
- Manage food cost, inventory, and ordering for the section.
- Maintain strict hygiene, sanitation, and food safety (HACCP) standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef, specializing in modern or “elevated” Indonesian cuisine.
- Strong culinary creativity and a deep understanding of Indonesian flavors and techniques.
- Experience in a 5star hotel or a renowned fine dining restaurant.
- Excellent leadership, training, and kitchen management skills.
- Strong knowledge of food cost control and kitchen financials.
- A culinary diploma or equivalent professional certification.
- Passionate about showcasing the best of Indonesian gastronomy.
