Position: Dimsum / Chinese Cook
Responsibilities:
- Prepare a variety of high quality dimsum and authentic Chinese dishes according to standard recipes.
- Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation for all menu items.
- Manage a specific station in the Chinese kitchen, including preparation and service.
- Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP).
- Assist with inventory, stock control, and ordering of Chinese kitchen ingredients.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Dimsum Cook or Chinese Cook in a hotel or reputable restaurant.
- Specialized skills in dimsum making and wok cooking techniques.
- Strong knowledge of Chinese cuisine, ingredients, and flavor profiles.
- Ability to work in a fast paced kitchen environment.
- A good team player who is responsive and respectful.
- Willing to work flexible shifts.
- Commitment to delivering a great culinary experience.
