Adas Cafe & Eatery is a family-style restaurant located in the Blora area of Central Java. We are currently looking for a professional Chef to manage all operational activities in the kitchen.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Chef to fill a leadership position overseeing all kitchen operations. This role will manage our Kitchen Leader and the entire kitchen team, in accordance with the existing hierarchical structure.

Kitchen Organizational Structure

The Chef will be responsible for managing the following team structure:

• Kitchen Leader
• Cook
• Cook Helper
• Steward

Key Responsibilities

The Chef will be responsible for all aspects of kitchen management, including:

1. Human Resource Management: Leading the kitchen team, managing schedules, and handling training.
2. Inventory Management: Overseeing stock control, ordering, and cost management.
3. SOP Management: Developing, implementing, and enforcing Standard Operating Procedures.
4. Work Standards Management: Ensuring all kitchen standards for quality, hygiene, and consistency are met.
5. Menu Development: Creating and developing new menu items aligned with our “Family Restaurant” positioning.
6. Administrative: Handling all necessary kitchen-related administrative tasks and reporting.

Required Specifications

We are looking for a candidate who meets the following criteria:

1. Must be a Muslim who performs the 5 daily prayers.
2. Willing to relocate to Blora (We provide a dormitory/mess with free electricity and water).
3. Minimum 5 years of experience in a professional kitchen.
4. Strong leadership and team management skills, including conflict resolution.
5. Willing and able to develop menus that fit our “Family Resto” concept.
6. Possesses strong leadership skills.
7. Possesses clear and effective communication skills.
8. Willing to maintain a close interpersonal relationship with the Owner for long-term culinary plans and projects.
