Position: Chef de Partie

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a specific station in the kitchen, ensuring all food preparation meets Novotel standards.
  • Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes consistently.
  • Assist the Sous Chef with menu planning, inventory, and ordering supplies.
  • Train and supervise Demi Chefs and Commis in your station.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all HACCP, hygiene, and food safety regulations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or senior Commis Chef in a 4 or 5-star hotel kitchen.
  • Strong culinary skills and knowledge of a specific kitchen station (e.g., Garde Manger, Saucier, Pastry).
  • Good communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional training.
  • Knowledge of food cost control and kitchen hygiene.
  • A passion for cooking and creativity.
