Position: Chef de Partie
Responsibilities:
- Manage a specific station in the kitchen, ensuring all food preparation meets Novotel standards.
- Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes consistently.
- Assist the Sous Chef with menu planning, inventory, and ordering supplies.
- Train and supervise Demi Chefs and Commis in your station.
- Ensure strict adherence to all HACCP, hygiene, and food safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or senior Commis Chef in a 4 or 5-star hotel kitchen.
- Strong culinary skills and knowledge of a specific kitchen station (e.g., Garde Manger, Saucier, Pastry).
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional training.
- Knowledge of food cost control and kitchen hygiene.
- A passion for cooking and creativity.
