Position: Sous Chef
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing all kitchen operations and culinary teams.
- Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
- Manage food costing, ordering, and inventory control.
- Develop and test new menu items.
- Ensure compliance with all hygiene and food safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high volume, multi outlet luxury hotel or resort.
- Strong culinary skills and a creative passion for food.
- Excellent leadership, training, and kitchen management abilities.
- Strong understanding of food cost control and kitchen finance.
- Experience in a pre-opening environment in Bali is highly valued.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.
- Formal culinary arts degree or equivalent.
