Position: Marketing Communication Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing and public relations strategies to enhance brand visibility and drive revenue for the 5-star hotel in the Jakarta market.
  • Manage all internal and external communications, including press releases, media relations, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
  • Oversee content creation across all channels (print, digital, social media), ensuring adherence to the Gran Meliá brand standards.
  • Coordinate promotional activities for F&B, rooms, and events, working closely with the Sales and E-Commerce teams.
  • Manage the hotel’s social media presence and online reputation, driving positive engagement and mitigating negative feedback.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor marketing strategies, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for all campaigns.
  • Manage the MarComm budget effectively and ensure maximum return on marketing investment.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (minimum 4 years) as a Marketing Communication Manager or Assistant Director in a luxury 5-star hotel in Jakarta.
  • Extensive knowledge of branding, public relations, digital marketing, and social media management.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Strong media relations network within the Jakarta lifestyle, business, and travel sectors.
  • Creative, highly organized, and proactive in driving market presence.
  • Ability to manage a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
