Position: Pastry Chef
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the pastry section and ensure that it runs smoothly at all times
- Present a broad array of cakes, pastries, desserts, and petit fours based on quality and consistency expectations
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and expense control for the pastry department
- Train and develop the pastry team to maintain high culinary standards
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
Qualifications:
- Proven experience of one year in a similar position, preferably at a luxury hotel or resort
- Fluent in written and spoken Bahasa Indonesia and English
- Ability to present a broad array of cakes, pastries, desserts, and petit fours
- Strong leadership skills to manage and supervise the pastry section
- Financial acumen required (budgeting, forecasting, expense control)
