Position: Chief Steward
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all stewarding operations to ensure strict hygiene and sanitation in kitchen areas
- Lead and train the stewarding team on equipment handling and chemical safety
- Manage inventory of chinaware, glassware, and kitchen utensils effectively
- Monitor dishwashing machine performance and coordinate maintenance as needed
- Prepare monthly reports on breakage and departmental operational costs
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position at a 4-star hotel
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Minimum senior high school or equivalent education
- Have high discipline, honest, and responsible
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
