Position: Pastry Chef
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the pastry department and ensure consistency in quality
- Design and implement innovative dessert menus that align with luxury resort standards
- Manage inventory, food costing, and procurement of premium pastry ingredients
- Supervise and train the pastry team to maintain high technical skill levels
- Ensure strict adherence to HACCP and international food safety protocols
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef in 5-star resorts or high-end establishments
- Strong technical expertise in patisserie, chocolate work, and bread making
- Creative flair for modern dessert presentation and menu development
- Excellent leadership skills with a focus on mentoring junior staff
- Solid understanding of food cost control and kitchen management
- Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
