Position: Sous Chef
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Executive Chef in managing the overall kitchen operations and staff
- Maintain the highest standards of food preparation, taste, and presentation
- Control kitchen costs by monitoring portion sizes and minimizing waste
- Lead and motivate the culinary team during high-volume service periods
- Conduct regular training sessions for staff on new recipes and safety standards
Qualifications:
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a Sous Chef role within luxury hotels
- Advanced culinary knowledge across multiple cuisines and techniques
- Demonstrated ability to manage and inspire a diverse culinary team
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail in food preparation
- Knowledgeable in kitchen sanitation and food safety regulations
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
- Dynamic personality with a passion for hospitality excellence
