Position: Sous Chef

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Executive Chef in managing the overall kitchen operations and staff
  • Maintain the highest standards of food preparation, taste, and presentation
  • Control kitchen costs by monitoring portion sizes and minimizing waste
  • Lead and motivate the culinary team during high-volume service periods
  • Conduct regular training sessions for staff on new recipes and safety standards

Qualifications:

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a Sous Chef role within luxury hotels
  • Advanced culinary knowledge across multiple cuisines and techniques
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and inspire a diverse culinary team
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail in food preparation
  • Knowledgeable in kitchen sanitation and food safety regulations
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Dynamic personality with a passion for hospitality excellence
