Position: Director of Finance

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all financial operations of the resort, including accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls.
  • Lead the development of annual budgets, capital plans, and financial forecasts.
  • Serve as a strategic financial advisor to the General Manager and executive committee.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, company policies, and the Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry.
  • Manage, train, and develop the finance department team to achieve their full potential.
  • Analyze financial performance and market trends to identify opportunities for revenue enhancement and cost reduction.

Qualifications:

  • 4-year bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting or a related major.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in a finance and accounting leadership role within a luxury hotel environment.
  • Functions as the property’s strategic financial business leader, providing expertise to maximize return on investment.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel financial operating systems, budgeting, forecasting, and internal control systems.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement property-wide strategies that align with brand and business objectives.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to lead, influence, and encourage others while advocating for sound financial decisions.
  • Excellent analytical skills to analyze financial data, market trends, and identify opportunities for profit improvement.
