Position: Assistant Director of Room

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Director of Rooms in overseeing all aspects of the Rooms Division, including Front Office, Housekeeping, and Guest Services.
  • Ensure the highest standards of guest satisfaction are achieved and maintained throughout the guest journey.
  • Manage divisional operations, optimize room occupancy and revenue, and control departmental costs.
  • Lead and mentor the Rooms Division team, fostering a culture of excellence, care, and continuous improvement.
  • Handle elevated guest concerns and ensure effective resolution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Rooms Division management within a 5-star hotel/resort.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and develop a large team.
  • Excellent operational knowledge of both Front Office and Housekeeping departments.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and P&L management.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
