Position: Commis

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of food items as directed by the Chef de Partie.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen.
• Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, and measuring.
• Learn and practice correct cooking procedures and techniques.
• Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a culinary school or equivalent vocational training.
• Previous experience in a professional kitchen is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of cooking methods and food preparation.
• A strong passion for the culinary arts and a desire to learn.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Punctual, reliable, and able to follow instructions.
• Good understanding of food safety practices.
