Position: Duty Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the engineering team and maintenance activities during an assigned shift.
- Conduct regular inspections of the resort’s mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
- Respond immediately to all maintenance requests and emergency situations to ensure guest safety and comfort.
- Oversee the execution of the preventive maintenance program for hotel facilities and equipment.
- Maintain detailed logs and reports of all maintenance work performed during the shift.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a hotel engineering department, including supervisory experience.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and refrigeration systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Proven leadership and team management abilities.
- Ability to work effectively on a rotating shift schedule, including nights and weekends.
- Familiarity with hotel safety and emergency response protocols.
