Position: Duty Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage the engineering team and maintenance activities during an assigned shift.
• Conduct regular inspections of the resort’s mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
• Respond immediately to all maintenance requests and emergency situations to ensure guest safety and comfort.
• Oversee the execution of the preventive maintenance program for hotel facilities and equipment.
• Maintain detailed logs and reports of all maintenance work performed during the shift.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a hotel engineering department, including supervisory experience.
• Diploma or degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and refrigeration systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Proven leadership and team management abilities.
• Ability to work effectively on a rotating shift schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Familiarity with hotel safety and emergency response protocols.
