Position: Chef de Partie – Chinese Cuisine
Responsibilities:
- Manage and operate the Chinese cuisine station, ensuring all dishes meet the resort’s high standards.
- Prepare a variety of authentic Chinese dishes, including wok specialties, dim sum, and banquet items.
- Train and guide junior cooks assigned to the Chinese kitchen.
- Maintain strict consistency in food quality, portion control, and presentation.
- Assist in sourcing specialized ingredients and managing inventory for the station.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Chef de Partie specializing in Chinese cuisine within a 5-star hotel or reputable restaurant.
- Expertise in regional Chinese cooking techniques, particularly wok and dim sum preparation.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Strong leadership potential and communication skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of food safety and hygiene protocols.
- A creative approach to traditional Chinese dishes.
- Team-oriented with a positive and professional attitude.
