Position: Chef de Partie (Hot Kitchen)
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the hot kitchen section to ensure timely food production
- Supervise and guide the commis team in preparing high-quality international and local dishes
- Monitor food safety and hygiene standards in compliance with HACCP and hotel protocols
- Manage ingredient inventory and ensure proper stock rotation to minimize kitchen waste
- Collaborate with the Sous Chef on menu development and seasonal promotion planning
Qualifications:
- Min. 1 year experience in the same position within a 4 or 5-star hotel environment
- Good communication and organization skills to lead a kitchen section
- Team player with a good personality and a positive attitude toward culinary excellence
- Deep knowledge of hot kitchen culinary techniques and international food standards
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail regarding food presentation and taste consistency
- Vocational high school (SMK) or Diploma in Culinary Arts
