Position: Sous Chef
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, including Chef de Partie and Commis.
- Manage a specific kitchen section, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Participate in menu planning and development.
- Control food costs and manage inventory for the section.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and hygiene standards.
Qualifications:
- Min. 1 year experience in the same position
- Good communication and organization skills
- Team player with good personality
- Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques.
- Ability to manage a kitchen section and supervise junior staff.
- Knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP).
