Position: Chief Steward

Responsibilities:

• Manage the stewarding department, including all kitchen cleaning, dishwashing, and sanitation.
• Oversee the inventory, storage, and maintenance of all chinaware, glassware, and silverware.
• Ensure strict adherence to hygiene and food safety (HACCP) standards.
• Train, schedule, and supervise the stewarding team.
• Manage the chemical and cleaning supplies budget effectively.

Qualifications:

• Significant experience in a stewarding leadership role within a 5 star hotel.
• In depth knowledge of kitchen hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards.
• Strong organizational and inventory management skills.
• Ability to lead and train a large and diverse team.
• Good understanding of F&B and culinary operational flows.
• Resilient and able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Basic English communication skills.
