Position: Demi Chef
Responsibilities:
- Support the Sous Chef and Chef de Partie in the daily operations of a kitchen section.
- Prepare and cook food items according to standard recipes and quality standards.
- Supervise and guide Commis Chefs in their duties.
- Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of the assigned work station.
- Assist with stock rotation, inventory, and ordering supplies for the section.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene protocols.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Demi Chef or senior Commis Chef in a hotel kitchen.
- Good culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions.
- Passionate about a culinary career and eager to learn.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
