Position: Demi Chef de Partie Pastry
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Chef de Partie Pastry in the preparation and presentation of pastry items.
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, desserts, and bread as instructed.
- Ensure all pastry items meet the hotel’s high standards of quality and presentation.
- Manage and maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Support in inventory management and ordering of pastry supplies.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role within a 4 or 5 star hotel.
- Good knowledge of pastry techniques and baking fundamentals.
- Passionate about pastry arts and eager to learn and grow.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Culinary school certificate or equivalent is an advantage.
