Position: Demi Chef de Partie
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Chef de Partie in running the kitchen station efficiently.
- Prepare and cook food items according to standard recipes and quality specifications.
- Ensure the workstation is kept clean, hygienic, and organized at all times.
- Support in the training of Commis Chefs.
- Check and manage inventory levels for the station, reporting any shortages.
- Adhere to all portion control and waste management guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Demi Chef or a strong Commis Chef in a 5 star hotel.
- Good knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen operations.
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation (HACCP).
- Ability to work effectively within a team structure.
- Positive attitude and a passion for cooking.
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Formal culinary education or apprenticeship is highly regarded.
