Position: Demi Chef de Partie

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Chef de Partie in running the kitchen station efficiently.
  • Prepare and cook food items according to standard recipes and quality specifications.
  • Ensure the workstation is kept clean, hygienic, and organized at all times.
  • Support in the training of Commis Chefs.
  • Check and manage inventory levels for the station, reporting any shortages.
  • Adhere to all portion control and waste management guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Demi Chef or a strong Commis Chef in a 5 star hotel.
  • Good knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen operations.
  • Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation (HACCP).
  • Ability to work effectively within a team structure.
  • Positive attitude and a passion for cooking.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Formal culinary education or apprenticeship is highly regarded.
